Preacher; how do live by faith when you receive a negative or impossible medical report? I can’t tell you what to do, but I can tell you what I chose to do.
I prayed and asked the Father to increase my faith, then I asked Him how should I handle the doctors report. He gave me the same answer to my request for increased faith and my question as to how I should handle the report. I was led to the Word concerning faith and healing, as well as a Bible study on the same subject, faith and healing.
There are two reports. One is based on natural medicine and the other is the truth of the Father. The natural report can change, one way or the other, but the report of the Word of God cannot change. But, you will reap the consequences of the report that you choose to believe.
The Israelites were promised a land flowing with milk and honey. Moses sent spies into the land. The spies came back with two reports. All but two of the spies gave a negative report, and two gave a report that lined up with faith in the promise of God. Because the people chose to believe the negative report, they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. They suffered the consequences for not trusting in the Father’s promise.
How do I live by faith? When a report says that I will die, if I don’t choose to follow ther advice (not fact)? I choose to live my life as if I had never seen the negative report, because I believe the Father’s repost based on what He said, even though I can’t see it or understand it, rather than man’s report that’s based on usumptions and their best guess. I live my best life day by day, taking no thought of tomorrow.
