the Body of CHRIST should care for one another just like the 1st century believers they cared for their widows, orphans, poor, sick and persecuted they pooled their funds and fed and sent out the believers and shared to WHOEVER might br in need... this is the TRUE commonwralth of the kingdom of heaven it was what the LORD taught, He even fed the masses with just 2 loaves and 5 fish this is what we should be doing: true religion is caring for widows and orphans in time of distress we should start doing this, and NOT rely on the unbelieving governments to care for the believers... this is sad, but it's the norm-- relying on government pensions when the pastors, teachers ajd other workers have no fixed salaries that the government taxes on, just donations and whatever can be shared let's make this permanent. establish a part of the Body whom the LORD calls to this! just like the early believers cared for this mercy, to see that there is no one abused or left out of the daily needs of the poor and destitute let's make this the norm and may the LORD GUIDE His followers to offer their best to this-- His arm of peace and provision for His people let's start building for the future of the church and it's thriving, - no reliance on the governments - no relying on other institutions who don't recognize the Body - no going outside of the LORD's work or provisions for the well- being of the Body. a self-sustaining, self-governing, obedient to His command Shalom!
