A few days ago, my husband and I started a prayer vigil together in the morning. The first day, we shot from the hip, the second day I included my bible, the third day I went to get my bible, and it was gone. Missing. In that VERY safe place. We checked all the normal places that I lay things down…all the tables, under the blankets on my bed, the car, the truck, the bathroom …. You know all the ‘regular’ places one would put something down. My office was searched like a policeman looking for contraband, yet no bible. I told my husband that I did not need the bible to pray, that it was the enemy trying to derail us and our mission. I am used to it.
Fast forward, last night before I went to bed, I was scrolling through my memories on social media when a picture of Tim Allen popped up, and instantly I knew where my bible was … it was upstairs in the spare bedroom. I had taken it up there to read, but had been interrupted by a phone call and left it on the dresser.
Why did Tim Allen jog my memory as to the location of the Bible? Not a clue. How did I forget that I went upstairs to read? You really need to ask about my memory skills…haha.
What I do know is that it only took three days for the enemy to become extremely nervous with our new routine. It only took three days for a shroud to be placed to hide His word (mind you, I have like 12 other Bibles in the house, but this one is the one that I prefer, and it is battle worthy). But on the evening of day three, the most obscure signal told me where to look. Absolutely no sense whatsoever.
Scriptures state that He will use those least seen to confuse those who are educated. So why not use a random picture on social media to show me where my sword is?
His message is all around us. His direction is right there if we choose to see it. He is waiting on this throne for us to seek him; all we have to do is open our eyes to accept the signs and wonders that he delivers.
