GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY
“Compassion for the Weary”
Matthew 9:36
“But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.”
This is the Word of God. Matthew 9 reveals the compassion of Jesus toward the broken, sick, and lost. Wherever He went, He saw beyond the crowds and recognized the pain, confusion, and spiritual emptiness in people’s hearts. His response was not rejection, but mercy and healing.
Even today, Jesus still sees those who are weary, burdened, and searching for hope. No pain is hidden from Him, and no life is beyond His care.
May we draw near to Christ, the Shepherd who lovingly cares for the hurting and the lost. Amen.
Have a blessed day with the Lord.
