GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY

“Listening to Jesus”

Luke 9:35

“This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!”

This is the Word of God. At the Mount of Transfiguration, God the Father declared Jesus as His beloved Son and commanded the disciples to listen to Him. In a world filled with many voices and opinions, Christ alone speaks the words of truth and life.

Sometimes we are quick to listen to fear, pride, or the pressures around us, yet slow to hear the voice of God. True wisdom begins when we pay attention to Jesus and obey His Word.

May our hearts remain attentive to the voice of Christ and faithful to His truth. Amen.
