THE TRAGEDY OF THE USURPED THRONE: WHAT IS SITTING ON YOUR HEAD TODAY?

​THE WEIGHT OF HEAVEN’S GOVERNANCE
​Saints of the Most High, the Holy Ghost is tearing down the veil of our religious vocabulary today! We love to talk about being "filled" with the Spirit, but we ignore the terrifying, governing posture the Holy Spirit took in the Upper Room.
​The Scripture explicitly states in Acts 2:3: “...and it SAT upon each of them.”
​The Holy Ghost did not just visit. He did not merely brush past them in a momentary emotional thrill. HE SAT ON THEM. To "sit" upon something in the realm of the spirit signifies total governance, occupation, rest, and rulership. They literally carried the Governor of Heaven upon their heads and shoulders!
​But I submit a soul-piercing, tear-inducing indictment to the modern Church: If the Holy Ghost is not the one sitting upon us, who and what is sitting on our altars, our officers, and our pews? Nature abhors a vacuum. If the Spirit of God is not resting on you, another entity has already taken the seat!
​THE EXPOSITION: THE ANATOMY OF THE OCCUPIED VESSEL
​1. The Mystery of the Head (The Seat of Authority)
​In the Kingdom, whatever sits on your head controls your feet. When the Holy Ghost sat upon the disciples, their personal agendas died instantly. They lost the right to dictate their own futures.
​Prophetic Truth: The reason you are constantly wrestling with the will of God is that your intellect, your pride, and your logic are still sitting on the throne of your mind! You cannot carry the Holy Ghost on your head while crowning yourself king of your life.
​2. What is Sitting on the Altar and its Officers? (1 Samuel 4:18)
​Look at the pulpits! Look at the ministers! What is sitting on the shoulders of the officers in the sanctuary?
​The Spirit of Mammon: Men who evaluate the success of a service by the weight of the offering rather than the weight of conviction.
​The Spirit of Eli: Heavy with the fatness of compromise, sitting on a comfortable seat while the Ark of God is captured by the culture!
​The Spirit of Performance: We have leaders carrying the crushing burden of maintaining an image, desperate for the applause of men.
​When the officer carries the idol of ego instead of the Fire of the Spirit, the altar becomes a stage, and the fire becomes artificial!
​3. What is Sitting on the Pews? (Zechariah 5:7-8 & Isaiah 61:3)
​Look at the congregation! What is sitting on the believers?
In Zechariah 5, the prophet saw a woman called "Wickedness" sitting in the midst of an ephah, with a weight of lead upon her mouth.
​The Spirit of Heaviness: Believers are walking into the sanctuary carrying the crippling weight of depression, anxiety, and secret sin.
​The Spirit of Slumber: A demonic lethargy sits on the eyelids of the Church. The moment the Word is preached, they are sedated.
​The Spirit of Entertainment: They carry the burden of the culture, weighed down by social media algorithms and worldly validation.
​THE SOUL-PIERCING REALITY: WHY THE SICKLE IS RUSTING
​Hear the cry of the Spirit: We are mourning the devastating scarcity of the sickle in our generation! The harvest is rotting in the fields, but the Church cannot move. Why? Because you cannot swing the sickle of the harvest when the demonic weight of the world is sitting on your shoulders!
​Labourers, not workers, are needed!
A "worker" clocks in on Sunday, carrying the heavy burden of their unrepentant flesh, looking for a sermon to temporarily relieve their stress. But a "labourer" goes to the altar to be violently stripped of the world, begging the Master: "Holy Ghost, take Your seat upon my head! Govern my thoughts! Command my hands!"
​You are either carrying the Kabod (the heavy Glory of God) or you are carrying a demonic hitchhiker! There is no middle ground.
​YOUR APOSTOLIC MANDATE (CALL TO ACTION)
​It is time for a violent eviction! We must dethrone the flesh and invite the Governor back to His seat.
​AUDIT YOUR SHOULDERS: What is weighing you down today? Is it anxiety, unforgiveness, lust, or the pursuit of money? Name the entity that is sitting on your mind!
​EVICT THE SQUATTER: You have the authority in the Name of Jesus to command the spirit of heaviness to get off your life! Repent of granting permission to the idols of this age to govern your time and strength.
​PRAY FOR THE DIVINE WEIGHT: Change your prayer today. Stop asking God to make your life "lighter." Ask Him to place the heavy, undeniable weight of the Holy Ghost upon you! "Lord, SIT ON ME until my flesh dies!"
​PURGE THE ALTAR: If you are a minister, a choir member, or an officer in the house of God, repent for carrying the spirit of performance. Bow your head and let the Cloven Tongue take its rightful place.
​PROPHETIC DECLARATION:
I decree a divine eviction order over every demonic burden and carnal weight sitting on your destiny! I command the spirit of heaviness to shatter right now! May the Lord of the Harvest release the raw, governing power of the Holy Ghost to SIT upon your head! Your mind is reclaimed! Your altar is purged! You are crossing over into the ranks of the true labourers! In the Terrifying and Mighty Name of Jesus!
