Hello, I would like to share with you the message from 22 mai 2026 from “The Good Seed” daily calendar.

They made me the keeper of the vineyards, but my own vineyard I have not kept. (Song of Solomon 1:6)

Too active?
“What shall I do, Lord?” (Acts 22:10) This is one of the first spiritual impulses of a person who has come to faith in the Lord Jesus and received new life. In the heart of every Christian arises the desire to serve the Lord. For this, such a person receives a task, fitting to his abilities, which he fulfils out of love for his Saviour.
However, as with everything, there is a danger here. If the emphasis on serving the Lord becomes too strong, we can be pushed into a ministry before we are ready. It is also possible that we did receive a task from the Lord, but over time, we take on more and more responsibilities. We do them because we think they would otherwise remain undone. In doing so, we risk giving too little attention to our own spiritual life. We serve the Lord but neglect to spend time with Him and His Word. We work in other vineyards but neglect to tend to our own vineyard. However, every service must flow out of communion with the Lord Jesus. How can we pass on to others what we have not first received ourselves?
Additionally, there is the danger of hypocrisy: to be esteemed among the people of God, we defend the Lord and His cause; at the same time, our spiritual life is weak because Christ does not fill us.

Today’s reading: Jeremiah 49:23-39 – Romans 14:1-12
