Expect the Unexpected: Living in Constant Expectation
God works in seasons and cycles, so we should live with the expectation that something good can happen at any moment. In heaven, there is continual expectation because God is always moving and doing something new. As believers, we should carry that same mindset.
If we constantly expect only bad things to happen, then our mindset becomes no different from the world’s — a world whose hope is often uncertain and temporary. But our hope is rooted in God.
