A Miraculous Testimony from Freedom Chapel Fellowship Iringa
During our VBS 2026 at Freedom Chapel Fellowship Iringa, while we were in the middle of building the church school and dormitory, something happened that could have ended in tragedy — but instead became a testimony of the power, mercy, and protection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
One of our roofers was working high on the roof, pulling back a nail, when he suddenly lost his balance and fell approximately 25 feet through the air. He landed flat on his back onto hard dirt and a pile of bricks.
The entire situation was horrifying.
From a human standpoint, he should have suffered catastrophic injuries — a broken back, shattered hips, spinal damage, bulging discs, neck injuries, broken shoulders, or even death.
He was unconscious for nearly 40 minutes.
But immediately, the people of God began to pray.
Right there in the middle of Bible camp, pastors, leaders, workers, and believers cried out to Jesus together.
We called upon the name of the Lord.
And the Lord answered.
We rushed him to the hospital and had him fully examined. After extensive checks and evaluation, only two hours later the doctors released him.
There was nothing wrong.
No broken bones. No spinal injuries. No internal damage. No scratches. No explanation except the hand of God.
We brought him to a small motel around the corner from the church in the village so he could rest. Later that evening, we went back to check on him and bring him dinner.
Not only was he awake… He got up and walked with us to dinner completely normal.
The next morning at 8:00 a.m., he returned to work on the church dormitory and school construction project as if nothing had happened.
This was not luck. This was not coincidence.
This was the mercy, protection, healing, and miraculous power of Jesus Christ.
We glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for preserving and healing our brother who trusts in Him.
Psalm 121:7–8 says:
“The Lord shall preserve you from all evil;
He shall preserve your soul.
The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.”
And truly, we witnessed the preserving hand of God.
Jesus, we glorify You for this miracle. Thank You for Your mercy. Thank You for Your protection. Thank You for Your healing power.
Thank You Jesus. Thank You Jesus. Thank You Jesus.
