The Lord Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. Jesus Christ is the Word of God and the Word was made flesh as an atonement for our sins. Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God who came to take away the sins of the world. The blood of Jesus purifies us of sin because He was without sin. Jesus Christ was faithful to the will of God until the very end.
The Lord Jesus Christ rose from the grave on the third day. He went to heaven so the Helper, the Holy Spirit, would dwell in us as the Spirit of truth.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. - John 3:16
