Human opinion shifts, culture constantly changes, and personal feelings cannot be trusted. What society celebrates today, it condemns tomorrow. To anchor your life in anything that changes is to guarantee instability. Scripture, by contrast, stands as absolute truth—unchanging and beyond human authority. Rejecting that foundation does not create freedom; it exchanges truth for illusion.

This is not a minor issue—it is self-deception. A person can be completely sincere and completely wrong at the same time. The Bible makes it clear that the human heart, left to itself, will justify error and resist correction. Without an objective standard, people do not move toward truth—they default to what is easiest, what is most comfortable, and what culture approves. Building on biblical truth is not preference; it is reality. Confidence built on anything else is empty, and when it is tested, it will collapse.
