I am telling you that He will show Himself on your behalf; He will come through for you. God shows faithfulness; God responds to faith. Verse 20 says that he did not waver at the promise of God because of unbelief, but he was strong in faith while giving glory to God. Verse 21 states that he was fully convinced that whatever God promised, He was also able to deliver.
Abraham made a complete determination that God would definitely do what He promised, and that was the end of it; that complete truth, referred to as faith, was counted to him as righteousness. Isaac was conceived and then born as a result.
When you nourish your faith, you eliminate your fear and starve your doubts. Any shortcoming in faith comes from not consuming God’s Word. Read the accounts of God’s faithfulness to His people, both in the past and currently; this will assist in igniting your faith.
How can you enter into the plentiful life of faith? It will happen as you digest the living Word of Christ. As stated, “Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of God,” which is found in Romans 10:17.
