“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7
In the world around us, it is very easy to become discouraged by what we see. We see uncertainty, division, financial pressures, sickness, conflict, and constant distractions pulling people away from God. Yet as Christians, we are not called to live by what we see — we are called to live by faith.
Faith reminds us that God is still on His throne. He is still in control. He is still working even when we cannot immediately see the results. The Lord has never abandoned His people, and He never will.
Too often we allow temporary struggles to consume our thoughts and rob us of our peace. But Scripture continually reminds us that our hope is not rooted in this world. Our hope is rooted in Christ, whose kingdom is eternal and whose promises never fail.
Today, lift your eyes above the temporary concerns of life and focus again upon the goodness and faithfulness of God. Do not allow fear, discouragement, or worldly pressures to weaken your spirit. Stand firm in faith. Continue trusting. Continue praying. Continue walking forward with confidence in the Lord.
The same God who has carried you through every past difficulty will continue to sustain you today and, in the days, ahead.

Heavenly Father, strengthen our hearts and renew our faith today. Help us not to become consumed by the temporary struggles of this world, but to keep our eyes fixed upon You. Fill us with peace, courage, and confidence as we walk by faith and not by sight. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
