The Best Matchmaker.
From; Brenda Walsh Ministries.
Other than your decision to follow Jesus, the single most important decision you will make during your lifetime is choosing a spouse. Finding the right companion can be a long, lonely search. For some, it is so exhausting that they give up altogether. Dating casually can seem superficial and even a waste of time meeting one “bad match” after another. Others spend hours on social media and dating sites only to find out that the person who they were communicating with wasn’t even close to the person they appeared to be. The best way to find that “special someone” isn’t dating apps, going to clubs, or “singles groups.” To find your match, you need to talk to God, the best Matchmaker of all. The Bible says in Psalm 32:8, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go.” Pray for God to bring the right person into your life. The person God chooses for you is far better than who you “think” you want. The biggest mistake people make is getting impatient and “settling” because they fear being alone. But being married to the wrong person is far worse than being single. The Bible doesn’t say you “have to” be married. In fact, many people choose to be single and are very happy and content. Choosing between marriage or the single life is not a matter of right or wrong - it is purely a choice. Either way, God just wants you to have a joy-filled life and be fulfilled. Text: 2 Corinthians 6:14, 1 Corinthians 15:33, Proverbs 4:23, Matthew 7:7
