May 26, 2026 (day 147/365)
TUESDAY
GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY
“Running to Win”
1 Corinthians 9:24
“Run in such a way that you may obtain it.”
This is the Word of God. In 1 Corinthians 9, Paul compares the Christian life to a race that requires discipline, focus, and perseverance. Athletes train hard for a temporary reward, but believers pursue an eternal crown that will never fade away.
Following Christ is not meant to be careless or half-hearted. God calls us to live with purpose, self-control, and wholehearted devotion as we continue the race of faith.
May God strengthen us to run faithfully and finish our race with endurance and joy. Amen.
Have a blessed day with the Lord.
