The Advent Truth.
“The Investigative Judgment isn’t biblical!”

Really?

Daniel 8:14 says:
“And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.”

That’s not a random verse floating in space. It’s sanctuary language. Judgment language. Day of Atonement language.

The Scriptures repeatedly describe a judgment that takes place BEFORE Jesus returns:

Leviticus 16 & 23 — the Day of Atonement was a yearly judgment and cleansing work.
Daniel 7:9–14 — thrones are set, books are opened, and judgment occurs before the kingdom is given to the saints.
Matthew 13:47–50 — separation before the end.
Matthew 22:1–14 — the king examines the guests before the wedding feast.
Hebrews 7–10 — Jesus ministers in the heavenly sanctuary as our High Priest.
Revelation 14:6–7 — “the hour of His judgment IS come” before the Second Coming in Revelation 14:14.
Revelation 22:12 — Jesus returns WITH rewards already determined.

Think about that last one carefully.

If Jesus brings rewards with Him when He returns… then a judgment had to happen BEFORE He came.

That’s not complicated. That’s biblical logic.

And contrary to what some claim, Adventists didn’t invent the general concept of a pre-Advent judgment out of thin air. Several of the Reformers believed in a future heavenly judgment connected to Daniel 7 and the fall of Antichrist before Christ’s kingdom is fully established. They didn’t have the full sanctuary message, but the foundation was already there.

The Investigative Judgment is not about salvation by works.

It’s about:
God vindicating His justice before the universe.
The books being opened.
Sin being blotted out.
Christ finishing His priestly ministry.
A people standing fully covered in His righteousness.

The sanctuary message reveals a SAVIOR, not merely a courtroom.

Jesus is not trying to find a reason to keep you out of heaven.
He is doing everything possible to bring repentant sinners home.

But probation will not remain open forever.
