I just started watching The Chosen today, and I was moved to tears. It beautifully captures the brokenness of Christ's disciples and how Jesus always showed up whenever they got to the end of themselves. This reminds me of two scriptures: "The Lord is near to the Brokenhearted" (Ps. 34:18) and "A broken and contrite heart, the Lord will not despise" (Ps. 51:17).

It's a reminder that Jesus sees you, cares for you, and is willing to pull you out of whatsoever valley you're in, provided you let Him in. Remember... while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!
