WEDNESDAY
GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY
“Sowing and Reaping”
2 Corinthians 9:6
“He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.”
This is the Word of God. Paul reminds believers that generosity brings spiritual blessing. Just as a farmer’s harvest depends on what he sows, our willingness to give, serve, and bless others reflects the condition of our hearts. A selfish heart fears loss, but a faithful heart trusts that God is able to provide abundantly.
God is not asking us to give out of fear or obligation, but out of faith and love. When we sow kindness and generosity, God uses it to bless others, strengthen His work, and shape our hearts to become more like Christ.
May our lives be rich in generosity and faithful in every good work. Amen.
