2 Nephi 25:26: "And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins."
We believe that there is no other source, or agency, through which we might be forgiven, and further gain access to Heavenly Father, but through Christ. Our creator loves us unconditionally and is always eager for the invite to dwell inside our hearts. We are fed with Scripture and nourished by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We develop an ongoing desire to grow closer to our Lord and Savior. Sure, there are obstacles, challenges, and yes, even attacks by the enemy of our souls, but we must keep our minds stayed on the Lord. The easiest way to do this is to keep our speech, our hearts, and are minds solely on, and about, the Lord. As Isaiah 26:3 states: “He will keep us in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him.” Further, as Jesus stated in Mark 14:38 “Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.” The more we pray and keep our hearts focused on the Lord, the less dominion, the devil will have toward us. 1 John 4:1-4. As always, I humbly invite you to pray always, and may The God of Peace bless and keep you in His grace.
