JESUS CHRIST IS THE ROOT, OBEDIENCE IS THE FRUIT.

A tree does not bear fruit to become alive.
It bears fruit because it is alive.

So the Christian does not obey to earn salvation.
The Christian obeys because Christ is living within.

“I am the vine, ye are the branches… without me ye can do nothing.”

Grace does not cancel obedience.
Grace produces obedience.

“For by grace are ye saved…”

“Created in Christ Jesus unto good works…”

“We do not earn salvation by our obedience… But obedience is the fruit of faith.”

Legalism says: “Obey so God will save you.”
False grace says: “God saves you, so obedience does not matter.”

Bible truth says:

CHRIST SAVES THE SOUL—AND HIS GRACE CHANGES THE LIFE.

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
— John 14:15

Obedience is not the price of God’s love.
It is the proof that His love has reached the heart.

NO ROOT, NO FRUIT.
NO CHRIST, NO TRUE OBEDIENCE.
NO LIVING FAITH, NO TRANSFORMED LIFE.
