May 28, 2026 (day 148/365)
THURSDAY
GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY
“Cleansed by the Blood of Christ”
Hebrews 9:14
“How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!”
This is the Word of God. Hebrews 9 reveals the greatness of Christ’s sacrifice. Unlike the repeated sacrifices of the old covenant, Jesus offered Himself once and for all to remove sin completely. His blood does not merely cover sin outwardly; it cleanses the heart and restores us to fellowship with God.
Many people carry guilt, shame, and the burden of past failures, but Christ offers true forgiveness and a new beginning. Through His sacrifice, we are called not only to be forgiven, but also to live in faithful service to the living God.
May we never take lightly the precious blood of Christ that cleanses and redeems us. Amen.
Have a blessed day with the Lord.
