FRIDAY
GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY
“A Warning Before Final Judgment”
Revelation 9:20
“The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk.”
This is the Word of God. Revelation 9 describes terrifying judgments upon the earth, yet even in the midst of suffering, many people still refused to repent and turn to God. The chapter reveals both the seriousness of sin and the hardness of the human heart apart from God’s grace.
God’s warnings are not meant merely to bring fear, but to call people to repentance before final judgment comes. His patience gives humanity opportunities to return to Him while there is still time.
May our hearts remain soft before God, quick to repent, and faithful to His truth. Amen.
Have a blessed day with the Lord.
