Another beautiful morning was given to us today. I took the dog out to her play pen and thought maybe I might just stay outside today. At least until the heat catches up. It is absolutely gorgeous.

The kids and I took a timeout day yesterday. It was nice out, but we chose to chill in front of the TV or computer and just do nothing. Many times, when we have done this, their attitudes go straight downhill because of too much screen time. But yesterday, they each respected boundaries and embraced a day that does not happen very often. Today will be an outside day. We will get some sun while we get some yard work done and playground time. They have asked that we go to the park with the trails. So, it looks like a small road trip.

This morning, I want to encourage you to just embrace the beauty, the peace, the joy, the bounty of His presence. Give thanks for this wonderful day and welcome His blessings with open arms.
