2 Timothy 1:12 –

Scripture: "For I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day." — 2 Timothy 1:12

Good morning, brothers and sisters.

In this verse, Paul is writing from prison. He is facing suffering, opposition, and uncertainty. Yet, instead of fear and discouragement, he expresses confidence and faith. He says, "I know whom I have believed."

Notice that Paul did not say, "I know what I believe." While knowing God's Word is important, Paul emphasized that he knew Who he believed in. His confidence was in Jesus Christ Himself.

Life often brings challenges. We may face financial struggles, health issues, family problems, disappointments, or unanswered questions. During such times, our peace does not come from having all the answers. Our peace comes from knowing the One who holds our future.

Paul was convinced that God was able to keep everything he had entrusted to Him. Paul had committed his life, ministry, future, and eternity into God's hands. He trusted that God would never fail him.

The same truth applies to us today. Whatever burden you are carrying, whatever concern is on your heart, you can place it in God's hands. Your family, your ministry, your job, your dreams, and your future are safest when they are entrusted to Jesus.

God is faithful. He keeps His promises. He watches over His children. Even when circumstances seem difficult, we can stand firm and declare, "I know whom I have believed."

Today, let us renew our trust in the Lord. Let us surrender our worries and fears to Him and walk forward in faith, knowing that He is able to keep all that we commit to Him.

Amen.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your faithfulness and love. Thank You that we can trust You in every season of life. Just as Paul placed his confidence in You, help us to place our complete trust in You today.

Lord, we commit our lives, families, ministries, finances, health, and future into Your hands. Strengthen us when we face trials and remind us that You are always with us. Remove fear, doubt, and anxiety from our hearts, and fill us with peace and confidence in Your promises.

Help us to know You more deeply and to walk by faith each day. May our lives bring glory to Your name, and may we never be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We thank You because You are able to keep all that we have entrusted to You until that glorious day when we see You face to face.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray.

Amen.
