GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY
“The Danger of Pride”
Psalm 10:2
“In pride the wicked persecute the poor; let them be caught in the plots which they have devised.”
This is the Word of God. Psalm 10:2 reveals how pride can corrupt the human heart. The wicked become so consumed with their own desires and power that they exploit and oppress those who are vulnerable. Pride not only distances people from God but also leads them to harm others for personal gain.
Yet God sees every injustice. Though the proud may seem to prosper for a time, the Lord is aware of their actions and will ultimately bring righteous judgment. He remains the defender of the humble and the oppressed.
May God keep us from pride and give us hearts marked by humility, compassion, and justice. Amen.
