Mark 10:14–16

14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

In Mark 10:14–16, we see the heart of Jesus for children. The disciples thought the children were not important enough to bring to Jesus, but Jesus corrected them. He welcomed the children with open arms and said that the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

Jesus was teaching that faith should be simple, trusting, and humble like a child. Children depend on others, believe sincerely, and come without pride. God desires that we approach Him with the same attitude—trusting His love, believing His promises, and relying on His grace.

Jesus not only welcomed the children; He embraced them, laid His hands on them, and blessed them. This shows His compassion and care for every person. No one is too small, too young, or insignificant in the eyes of God.

Today, Jesus still invites us to come to Him. He wants us to trust Him completely, receive His love, and live in humble faith. When we come to Him with childlike trust, we experience His blessing, peace, and presence.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your love and care for us. Help us to come to You with the faith, humility, and trust of a little child. Remove pride, doubt, and fear from our hearts. Teach us to depend on You in every situation. Thank You that Jesus welcomes us into His presence and blesses us with His love. May we follow Him faithfully and share His love with others.

In Jesus' name we pray,

Amen.
