YOU’RE NOT BUSY—YOU’RE UNDISCIPLED
Time mismanagement is often a discipleship failure, not a workload issue.
Grace and Apostolic fire to you, Beloved. Today, I am bringing a word that will confront the greatest idol of the modern believer: the idol of "Busyness."
Everywhere you go, from the bustling streets of Ibadan to the global digital space, the battle cry of a spiritually anemic generation is the same: "I just don't have the time." We wear our exhaustion like a badge of honor. We brag about our packed schedules. But in the realm of the Spirit, chronic busyness is not a sign of importance; it is a blaring siren of an undiscipled life.
A profound sociological look at our generation reveals a devastating irony: we possess more time-saving digital applications, habit trackers, and automated tools than any civilization in human history, yet we are the most chronically rushed, spiritually barren generation to ever live.

Hear me by the Spirit: You are not too busy to pray. You are too undiscipled to prioritize.
The Anatomy of a Hijacked Schedule
We claim we do not have time for the secret place, but we have time to scroll endlessly through social media feeds. We claim we cannot read the Word, but we meticulously analyze data, manage our online platforms, and binge-watch entertainment.
When you look at the life of a disciplined soldier, or an officer of the law, you see a profound reality: they do not perform their duty only when they have "spare time." They structure their entire existence around the command of their superior. Yet, we treat the Lord of Hosts with less respect than a commanding officer. We offer God the exhausted, leftover scraps of our day and wonder why we collapse under spiritual pressure.
When the Lord led me to write The Scarcity of the Sickle, this truth became agonizingly clear. The harvest is not rotting because we lack believers. The sickle is scarce because those holding it are too distracted, mismanaged, and undisciplined to swing it!

The Biblical Expose: The Mastery of Time
The Word of God does not accept your schedule as an excuse for your spiritual negligence:
The Command to Redeem (Ephesians 5:15-16): "See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil." Time is a currency. A disciple does not just spend time; they redeem it. If your schedule is dictating your spiritual life, your flesh is on the throne.

The Blueprint of the Master (Mark 1:35): "Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed." Jesus Christ carried the weight of the salvation of humanity. No one in history had a heavier workload. Yet, He mastered His time by securing His spiritual formation before the demands of the day began.
The Tragedy of the Sluggard (Proverbs 24:30-31): "I went by the field of the lazy man, And by the vineyard of the man devoid of understanding; And there it was, all overgrown with thorns..." Your spiritual life is this field. When you fail to manage your time, thorns of anxiety, fleshly desires, and spiritual apathy overgrow your soul.
The Shift: From Worker to Labourer
We must recognize a fundamental truth of the Kingdom: LABOURERS NOT WORKERS ARE NEEDED.
A worker clocks in, looks at their watch, complains about the hours, and lets their environment dictate their output. But an apostolic labourer takes absolute dominion over their time. A labourer knows that their 24 hours belong to the Lord of the Harvest. Time mismanagement is not a personality quirk; it is a refusal to submit your calendar to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
If you cannot govern your waking hours, how can God trust you to govern spiritual territories?

A Soul-Surrendering Call to Audit Your Life
It is time to stop lying to yourself. You are not lacking time; you are lacking formation. You are surrendering your most precious asset to distraction, poor planning, and a lack of boundary enforcement.
The Holy Ghost is demanding an audit of your hours today. You must ruthlessly cut out the time-wasters. You must assassinate your procrastination. You must elevate the secret place from an "if I have time" activity to a non-negotiable, foundational command.

CALL TO ACTION: Reclaim Your Calendar
Do not let the enemy steal this conviction. Take immediate, radical action right now:
Confess the Mismanagement: Type "LORD, BE THE MASTER OF MY TIME" in the comments below. Publicly dethrone the excuse of busyness.
Audit Your 24 Hours: Tonight, take a pen and paper. Track exactly where your hours went today. Look at the empty spaces you filled with mindless scrolling, and let the reality drive you to repentance.
Establish the First Fruits: Commit today that the first hour of your day will no longer belong to your phone, your emails, or your business. It belongs completely to the Word and prayer.
Sound the Alarm: Share this broadcast to your timeline and directly to the believers in your life who are drowning in their own schedules. We need to wake up the Body of Christ!

Follow this page and turn on your notifications. We are stripping away the excuses and building an uncompromising remnant prepared for the coming move of God.
