Heavenly Father,
As we begin this Monday morning, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the powerful Word that was preached on Sunday concerning a Spirit-filled church. Thank You for reminding us that Your church is not merely a building, but a people devoted to You, united in faith, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and committed to advancing Your Kingdom.
Lord, Your Word declares in Acts 2:42 that the believers "continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers." Today, help us to continue steadfastly in Your truth. Let the message we heard not remain in the sanctuary but take root in our hearts and bear fruit in our daily lives.
Father, fill us afresh with the Holy Spirit. Let us walk in the power, wisdom, and boldness that characterized the early church. Remove every spirit of complacency, division, distraction, and spiritual dryness. Ignite within us a fresh passion for prayer, worship, fellowship, and the study of Your Word.
Lord, teach us to love one another as Christ loves us. Let our homes, churches, and communities reflect the unity and compassion of the early believers. Make us sensitive to the needs of others and willing to be vessels through which Your blessings flow.
As we enter this new week, give us favor in our workplaces, schools, businesses, and ministries. Open doors that no man can shut. Grant divine opportunities to share the Gospel and be a witness of Your goodness. Let signs of Your presence follow us wherever we go.
Father, strengthen every believer who may feel weary this morning. Renew their faith, restore their joy, and remind them that the same Spirit that empowered the church in Acts is alive and working in them today. Let every burden be lifted, every fear be broken, and every attack of the enemy be defeated in the mighty name of Jesus.
Lord, let our church be known as a Spirit-filled church—one that is devoted to prayer, grounded in Scripture, overflowing with love, generous in service, and effective in reaching souls. Add to Your church daily such as should be saved. Let revival begin in us and spread through our families, neighborhoods, cities, and nations.
Today we surrender our plans, our desires, and our concerns into Your hands. Order our steps, direct our paths, and let everything we do bring glory to Your name.
