The God Who Creates

“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
Genesis 1:1

The Bible begins not with an argument for God’s existence, but with a declaration of His power. Before there was light, land, oceans, stars, or life itself, God already was. Everything we see traces its origin back to Him.

Creation reveals that God is not a distant observer. He is the Designer, Builder, and Sustainer of all things. Every sunrise, mountain range, and star-filled sky reminds us that the universe did not happen by accident. It was spoken into existence by a purposeful Creator.

When life feels chaotic, Genesis 1:1 reminds us that the same God who created the universe is still at work today. Nothing is beyond His ability. The God who formed galaxies can also bring order, purpose, and hope into our lives.

Heavenly Father, thank You for creating all things. Help me to see Your power and wisdom in the world around me. Remind me that nothing is impossible for You. Strengthen my faith and teach me to trust the Creator of heaven and earth. Amen.
