GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY
“Reverence in God's Presence”
Leviticus 10:3
“By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; and before all the people I must be glorified.”
This is the Word of God. Leviticus 10 records the tragic account of Nadab and Abihu, who approached God in a way He had not commanded. Their story reminds us that God is holy and worthy of our utmost reverence and obedience.
While we can approach God with confidence through Christ, we must never treat His holiness lightly. True worship flows from hearts that honor Him, obey His Word, and seek to glorify Him above all else.
May we worship God with reverence, gratitude, and a deep respect for His holiness. Amen.
