Heavenly Father,
We come before Your throne this Thankful Thursday morning with hearts full of gratitude and praise. Lord, Your Word declares, "This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24 KJV). We thank You for allowing us to see another day. Thank You for Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your faithfulness that have carried us through the night and brought us into this new morning.
Father, we thank You because "it is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness" (Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV). Thank You for every blessing seen and unseen. Thank You for the doors You have opened, the prayers You have answered, and the battles You have fought on our behalf.
Lord, we lift up our families before You today. Cover them with Your divine protection, for Your Word says, "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty" (Psalm 91:1 KJV). Protect our homes, our children, our grandchildren, our spouses, and our loved ones from all hurt, harm, danger, and evil.
Father, we pray for those who are sick in body, mind, or spirit. Let Your healing power flow through them today. Your Word declares, "But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings" (Malachi 4:2 KJV). We stand on Your promise that "by whose stripes ye were healed" (1 Peter 2:24 KJV).
Lord, strengthen those who are weary and discouraged. Remind them that "they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles" (Isaiah 40:31 KJV). Give them hope, peace, and renewed faith for every challenge they face.
We pray for those seeking employment, financial breakthroughs, and direction. Lord, open doors that no man can shut. For Your Word says, "And my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 KJV).
Father, guide our steps throughout this day. "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV). Help us walk in wisdom, humility, love, and obedience to Your will.
Today we choose gratitude. We choose praise. We choose faith over fear because "if God be for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31 KJV).
