Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

This morning I must have needed it, because I slept in past seven. It has been a while since I did that. But boy howdy, do I feel refreshed. My coffee is hot and refreshing. I have gotten two very awesome and long hugs from my grandson. My body is not crying foul. It is a great day in the making.

Today, the kids are going to help me clean up a mess in the yard, and then they will be released to be kids. I have some writing to get started on, plus preparing for my event this weekend. Inventory. Equipment gathering. Accessories and placards for payments. It is going to be a good day.

I did not get very far in my writing this morning before the enemy started his stuff. A long-time friend who lives on the East Coast lost her little brother in a tragic accident. Please pray for her and her family. As I was typing, I received a message from another friend that someone was trying to extort money from them … again. Both families are children of the Most High. Please cover them in prayer.

My morning is not going to be boring. I woke up good. Then the enemy struck two-fold. BUT … but God returned a volley with great news for my mom. So … it is going to be a great day. The enemy has no foothold here. And it really annoys him.

I heard something last night that has made itself a place in my heart. I had not thought of it like this, but it will now hover in my daily activities. “I am not waiting to the end to see if I hear ‘good and faithful servant’. I hear it every night before I go to bed. I am either at peace with the Father because I followed his will, or Satan is telling me I did a good job for him.” Let that sink in. Like, really sink in. If you truly meditate on that quote … it will strike a chord. It will make you evaluate your actions and your heart.

Moving forward … I want to hear NOTHING from the enemy in that I did something for him. I know that when I do nothing, when I am supposed to do something, I have done exactly what the enemy wanted. So, I am now even more vigilant in my actions and words and presence to pay tribute and respect to my Father who saved me. Regardless of how inconvenient it may feel at the time. I never want to hear those words from Satan. Ever.

Today is God’s day. A beautiful day. A service day. A praise day.

Be blessed.
