A WORD FOR YOU. (Insights For Life) ...for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. 1 Samuel 2:3 KJV THE LORD IS A GOD OF KNOWLEDGE. There are two important points to note in this verse of scripture: - God knows and sees everything. God is not blind, he is not ignorant. Nothing is hidden before him. This understanding should inform us on how we live our lives. Scripture says: everything is open to him even in the dark. No matter how we lift up holy hands and speak in tongues in Church, God sees us. - He weighs our actions. We can hide behind our actions but God sees the intentions behind the actions. Check your intent, check your heart. Listen, good work is not always good intent. Gift is not necessarily love. Behind the gifts, the cares, the love, might be a monster waiting to devour. Many of us have fallen into the hands of so called "good man", "prayerful man", "he is a pastor" and later discovered that they were monsters secretly. Let God that sees behind the actions reveal to you the real content. May God reveal all enemies acting as neighbours and friends to us in Jesus precious name. How you serve is as important as the service itself. Your intentions is as important as the actions. Many are in Church today but are not after the God of the Church. Many are committed and shows lots of respect and honour today, but it's only because of what they are getting - not that that's who they are. Scripture says: the heart of man is terribly wicked, who can know it. EXCEPT THE LORD REVEAL A MAN'S HEART TO YOU, NEVER JUDGE THEM BY THEIR ACTIONS.
