Remembering Every Step

Scripture

Numbers 33:2 (NKJV)
Now Moses wrote down the starting points of their journeys at the command of the Lord. And these are their journeys according to their starting points.

God in Every Mile of the Journey

In this verse, Moses records every stage of Israel’s journey—from Egypt to the edge of the Promised Land. Each stop, each struggle, each victory was intentionally written down. God commanded this record because every step mattered. Their journey was not random. It was guided, shaped, and overseen by the hand of the Lord.

For believers today, this verse reminds us that God is present in every stage of our journey as well. Every season matters. The exciting moments and the difficult ones. The mountain highs and the wilderness lows. God sees it all, uses it all, and leads us through it all.

Sometimes we forget how far God has brought us. But when we look back and remember, our faith grows, our gratitude deepens, and our confidence increases.

This verse encourages us to reflect on God’s faithfulness in every chapter of our story.

Prayer

Lord God, thank You for being faithful in every step of my journey. Help me to remember all You have done and to trust You with the future. Teach me to see Your hand in every season, knowing that You guide my path. In Jesus name, Amen.
