Just Show Up and Let God Show Out!

“And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD... The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” — Exodus 14:13-14 (KJV)

Thought Of The Day...
One of the greatest misconceptions believers have is thinking that God is waiting for us to become stronger, smarter, or more qualified before He can use us. Yet throughout Scripture, God repeatedly demonstrates that His power is revealed through ordinary people who simply show up in faith.
The children of Israel stood trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh's army. They had no strategy, no weapons, and no escape plan. God didn't tell them to fight. He told them to stand still and watch Him work. Their responsibility was to show up in faith; God's responsibility was to show out in power.
The same pattern appears in Judah's battle against overwhelming enemies. God told them, “Ye shall not need to fight in this battle.” Their victory was not dependent on their strength but on their willingness to trust and obey. They showed up on the battlefield, and God fought for them.
In John 6, a little boy showed up with five loaves and two fish. What he had seemed insignificant compared to the need. Yet when he placed his small offering in the hands of Jesus, God showed out and fed thousands. The miracle was not in the size of the gift but in the willingness of the giver.
Then in Acts 2, the disciples gathered in obedience to Christ's command. They were not performing miracles or preaching great sermons. They were simply present, united, and expectant. While they showed up in obedience, God showed out through the outpouring of the Holy Ghost.
The lesson is clear: God is not looking for perfection; He is looking for availability.
Many believers miss blessings because they stay home when they should show up, remain silent when they should pray, quit when they should persevere, or withdraw when they should trust God. The enemy knows that if he can keep you absent, discouraged, or distracted, he can keep you from experiencing what God has prepared for you.
Perhaps today you feel weary. Perhaps you've prayed and haven't seen an answer. Maybe you've been serving faithfully and wonder if God sees your efforts. The Word of God reminds us that our responsibility is not to produce the miracle—it is to remain faithful and available.
Show up to prayer.
Show up to worship.
Show up to God's Word.
Show up in obedience.
Show up in faith.
And then step aside and watch God show out.

Something to Think About...
• Am I allowing fear to keep me from showing up where God has called me?
• Have I been waiting for perfect conditions before obeying God?
• What area of my life requires me to trust God rather than control the outcome?
Remember, God's greatest displays of power often begin when His people simply show up and trust Him.

Prayer...
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for reminding me that You do not require perfection, only obedience and faith. Forgive me for the times I have allowed fear, discouragement, and doubt to keep me from showing up. Help me trust You when I cannot see the outcome and remain faithful when the journey feels difficult.
Teach me to stand still when You say stand still, to move when You say move, and to trust You in every season. Strengthen my faith to believe that You are working even when I cannot see it. As I show up in prayer, worship, service, and obedience, let Your power be revealed in my life.
I declare that every Red Sea will part, every giant will fall, every need will be supplied, and every promise will be fulfilled according to Your will. I surrender my plans, my fears, and my future into Your hands.
In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Declaration...
Today, I will show up in faith and obedience. I will not be ruled by fear, discouragement, or doubt. The Lord is fighting for me, making a way for me, and working on my behalf. I trust His timing, His power, and His promises. As I show up, God will show out, and His glory will be revealed in my life. In Jesus' name, Amen!
