Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? Ephesians 5:15-17 says, "See then that ye walk circumspectly(cautiously), not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is." The days certainly are evil as we have seen in the past days,weeks,months and years where People are constantly planning hate and destruction on others. God wants to make it clear to us as Christians that we are not to be as others,but to walk humbly before our God,cautiously, with love and mercy in our Hearts.We cannot allow ourselves to be overmuch caught up in the things in our Country and things going on around the world. We are warned in the Scriptures about such times as these: We read in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." As Christians we are to be praying for our leaders and asking God to give them wisdom in order to properly handle the present situations that are happening around us. We are to shine as lights in a dark world where satan,the god of this world, is bringing more and more darkness. 1 Timothy 2:1-6 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. 1 Timothy 6:15-16 which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Who was,and is,and is to come,The Lord Jesus Christ,The Almighty God. Revelation 1:4, 1:8.,4:8. We are supposed to be the ones who are aware of what is going on in the world. Evil is raising up and trying to destroy all that is good,trying to bring more violence and hatred among people;trying to promote gross immorality and ruin to the world as we know it.the devil hates all humanity because we are all made in the image of God and he hates God. We need to become Warriors,Not in the natural but prayer Warriors.We need to pray as never before for our Nation and the world in general. God loves every Person on earth and it is not His will that any should perish but that all would come to a saving knowledge of JESUS CHRIST. Isaiah 1:18 says, "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." We read in Romans 10:8-11 "But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed."
