Luke 1:37
“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” — Luke 1:37
Good day everyone.
Luke 1:37 is one of the most encouraging verses in the Bible. These words were spoken by the angel Gabriel to Mary when he told her that she would give birth to Jesus. From a human perspective, this seemed impossible. Mary was a virgin, and she could not understand how this could happen. Yet God was showing her that His power is greater than human understanding.
Many of us face situations that seem impossible. We may struggle with financial problems, family issues, sickness, broken relationships, or unanswered prayers. Sometimes we look at our circumstances and think there is no way forward. But Luke 1:37 reminds us that God is not limited by what limits us.
Throughout the Bible, God did the impossible. He opened the Red Sea for the Israelites. He gave Abraham and Sarah a son in their old age. He delivered Daniel from the lions' den. Most importantly, He raised Jesus from the dead. The same God is still at work today.
This verse does not mean that life will always be easy. It means that God is able to accomplish His purpose even when we cannot see a solution. Our responsibility is to trust Him, obey Him, and keep believing in His promises.
When you face an impossible situation, remember that God is bigger than your problem. What seems impossible to people is possible with God. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep walking by faith. God is still working behind the scenes, even when you cannot see it.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You that nothing is impossible for You. Help us to trust You when we face difficulties and challenges. Strengthen our faith and remind us that Your power is greater than any obstacle before us. May we rest in Your promises and follow You with confidence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
