On the Theology of Incarnation – "When the Creator Touched the Creation"
Some may wrongly assume that "Incarnation" was merely a technical method to save humanity from Adam’s sin. The Incarnation is the greatest "love story" ever written in the history of existence.
God, in His omnipotence, could have erased sin with a single word. Yet, He chose the "harder path." He chose to limit Himself in a human body to tell us: "I do not love you from afar; I love you so much that I have become one of you."
Christ wore our weakness; He hungered, thirsted, grew weary, and wept. Why? So that we would not feel like strangers when we suffer or grow tired. We worship a God who "understands us" because we have experienced the humanization of God.
"EMMANUEL" – God with us. Not with us from a distance, but with us in the details: in our tears, our weariness, and our small joys. The Incarnation is a call for us to sanctify our daily lives. Every action we take and every moment we live has become sacred because Christ has dwelt in our human nature.
Do not look for God only in the corners of the unseen; look for Him in your brother, in your weakness, and in the details of your day. Because He became flesh, we are no longer alone.
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us." (John 1:14)
