The Advent Truth
“They’ve changed.”

That’s what people keep saying about the papacy.
“They’re different now.”
“They’re more loving now.”

Bible students hear that and think: “I mean… come on.”

A chameleon changes colors depending on the environment. But changing colors is not the same thing as changing nature. It is still the same creature underneath. Scripture warned that systems of deception would adapt, flatter, and speak peacefully while still exalting human authority above the commandments of God.

Daniel 7 describes a power that would “think to change times and laws.” History shows exactly what system claimed authority to alter God’s law regarding worship and the Sabbath. And even today, Rome still openly claims that Sunday sacredness is a mark of her ecclesiastical authority.

People act like Bible prophecy expired because the tone became softer.

But prophecy was never based on vibes. It was based on doctrine, authority, and actions.

Revelation 13 does not say the beast disappears because it smiles more. It says the world wonders after it.

That is exactly why discernment matters.

A wolf can put on softer clothing. Babylon can speak the language of unity and compassion. But Bible students are called to test everything by Scripture, not emotions, popularity, or public relations campaigns.

This is why Protestants returning to Rome is such a serious issue. The Reformers did not separate from Rome over personality conflicts. They separated over authority, salvation, worship, and truth. And now many are running back while pretending the warnings of prophecy no longer matter.

The issue was never whether individual Catholics can be sincere. Many are. The issue is the system itself and the authority it claims.

Truth does not change because culture changes.

And God is still calling people:
“Come out of her, my people.” (Revelation 18:4)

The closer we get to the end, the more deception will come wrapped in peace, unity, and apparent goodness. But a chameleon changing colors does not mean it stopped being a chameleon.

Bible students know exactly what they’re looking at.
