STOP PRAYING ONLY FOR THINGS.--PRAY FOR YOUR TRANSFORMATION FIRST:
Many believers focus on receiving blessings, yet God is far more concerned about who we are becoming. True elevation in the Kingdom is not built on possessions, but on transformation of the heart and mind. As Scripture declares, “Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2)
There are dimensions, responsibilities, and blessings God has already prepared—but your current state may not yet be able to carry them. Growth is not optional; it is essential for capacity. “No man putteth new wine into old bottles…” (Luke 5:37). God will not pour new things into an unprepared vessel.
Access follows alignment.
When your life aligns with God’s will, His purpose unfolds naturally. “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you” (John 15:7).
Alignment positions you for access.
You cannot possess what you are not prepared to steward.
God does not release divine assignments into unready hands.
Faithfulness in preparation is the gateway to greater responsibility. “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much” (Luke 16:10).
God’s process is intentional:
He refines before He reveals.
“When he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold” (Job 23:10).
He prepares before He promotes.
“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time” (1 Peter 5:6).
He transforms before He entrusts.
“And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit will I put within you” (Ezekiel 36:26).
Summary and conclusion:
God is not just interested in answering your prayers—He is committed to shaping your life. When you prioritize transformation, you position yourself for everything He has already prepared. Seek not just His hand, but His process.
Am I praying more for what I want, or for who God is calling me to become?
Am l praying to be able to manage myself and what God has for me, or just praying for riches?
We read in 1 John 2:15--17
"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passing away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."
