Saturday Morning Prayer
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." — Matthew 11:28 (KJV)
"This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." — Psalm 118:24 (KJV)
"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles." — Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for carrying us through another week. Through every challenge, every responsibility, every victory, and every trial, Your hand has sustained us. Lord, we pause this Saturday morning to give You glory, honor, and praise. You have been faithful when we were tired, strong when we were weak, and present when we felt alone.
Father, at the end of this busy week, we bring every burden, concern, and care before You. Your Word says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." Today, we release every worry into Your hands. Refresh our minds, restore our bodies, and renew our spirits.
Lord Jesus, bring peace to every troubled heart. Heal those who are sick, strengthen those who are weary, encourage those who are discouraged, and provide for those who are in need. Let Your favor rest upon our families, our homes, our churches, and our communities.
Fill us with fresh strength and fresh joy. Help us to enter this day with gratitude and expectation, knowing that You are working all things together for our good. Let Your presence surround us and Your blessings overtake us.
We thank You for every door You have opened and every danger You have protected us from that we never even saw. As we prepare for a new week ahead, order our steps and guide us by Your Spirit.
