Good morning to everyone, this beautiful and refreshing Lord’s day. May Grace and Peace be with you.

Today I am supposed to set up at the fairgrounds in town for an Inaugural International Food Fest. I say supposed to, because this is my first big event and it has been an adventure thus far … to say the least. I may have to write a story about it. Haha.

Because of the rain, we loaded the truck last night and I have taken other precautions to safeguard my books. After doing inventory yesterday, I believed that a tote would be sufficient, I was wrong. I have one tote and two carry-ons of books. I almost feel like a big author … ha ha.

This morning started early with me being woken up from a very weird dream around 430. Trying to get back to sleep, my thoughts were everywhere, and the hot flashes hit full on like a freight train. Not to be left out, when I finally got up a little bit ago, my mind is still all over the place, and now I am fluttering between hot and cold. It is ridiculous. All of this just tells me that someone wants me to quit and not go in. This much chaos must mean that serious seeds will be planted … one way or another. I am good with that.

So, while I am drinking my wonderful morning nectar, I have my office window open and am receiving the morning’s blessings from the birds singing. I am kicking back and forth from jeans to shorts … I will flip a quarter when I go get dressed, just to be fair … haha.
I now know why I don’t typically open this window…the hog farms are saying hello as well. Haha.

I share this morning’s headspace to let you know that I have a choice to make. Cave to what ‘could’ be the outcome and that I have been scammed, and not even showing up or show up, with my documentation and show the event personnel. If they confirm that I was scammed, then they will know that they need better safeguards for next year. Perhaps the last few days of chaos were just that … chaos to keep me away … I am old … if I have been ripped off, I tend to want to face people to keep others from going through the same thing.
In the course of my odd thoughts this morning, in the event that I don’t have a spot, a couple of other ideas popped into my mind to stop and ask. The worst they can do is say no.

Today, while you meet Him in his house, be sure to give praise and thanks for all your trials this week. Those trials were seeds and watering to help you grow closer to Him. This past week of chaos over this one event has really let me see the world in a different manner and to see what a difference I can make, as long as I follow His direction. Do not let the world win your battles … Let Him destroy your enemy and restore you.

Be blessed.
