Day 1 "Living Under the Government of the Holy Spirit"
WALKING BY FAITH
Hebrews 11:8
"By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as an inheritance, obeyed and went out, even though he did not know where he was going."
Abraham was living in Ur of the Chaldeans when he received God's call. Nothing indicated that he would become the father of a multitude of nations. Yet, he chose to obey God's voice.
Life in the Spirit often begins with a departure. The Holy Spirit invites us, sometimes even prompts us, to leave our human securities and enter into God's plans.
Abraham did not know the destination, but he knew the One who was leading him.
Faith is not the absence of questions; it is trust in God's character despite the questions.
After Pentecost, believers learn to walk not by sight, but by faith under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Is there an area where God is asking you to trust Him more? A decision, a ministry, a project, or a promise? Do what He tells you. Let the Holy Spirit lead you.
Ask God to give you the faith of Abraham so that you may follow Him even when you cannot yet see the way.
