GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY
“Victory Comes from the Lord”
2 Samuel 10:12
“Be of good courage, and let us be strong for our people and for the cities of our God. And may the Lord do what is good in His sight.”
This is the Word of God. Facing overwhelming enemies, Joab encouraged his men to fight bravely while ultimately entrusting the outcome to God. He understood that courage and responsibility are important, but success is not determined by human strength alone. After doing all they could, they left the result in the hands of the Lord.
Life often places us in situations that seem larger than our abilities. We are called to work diligently, stand faithfully, and do what is right, but we must remember that the final outcome belongs to God. Faith is not passive; it acts with courage while trusting God's perfect will.
May God give us the strength to face every challenge with courage and the faith to leave the results in His loving and sovereign hands. Amen.
