The Apostle Paul prayed not for changed circumstances, but for enlightened eyes: "That the eyes of your understanding being enlightened..." — Ephesians 1:18 Perhaps spiritual maturity is not simply seeing more. Perhaps it is seeing more clearly. Seeing God's hand where we once saw only frustration. Seeing His purpose where we once saw only delay. Seeing His faithfulness where we once saw only uncertainty. The Kingdom often advances first through transformed vision before transformed circumstances.
