Morning Prayer Holy and Eternal Father, As this new day begins we seek Your presence above all else. More than success, comfort, or recognition, we desire to know You more deeply and walk closely with Jesus Christ. Thank You for the mercy and grace that have brought us into fellowship with You through the cross of Christ. Thank You that because of His sacrifice we can approach Your throne with confidence. Help us remain spiritually attentive today. Guard our hearts from distraction and from becoming consumed with temporary things.
