Being a Minister of Jesus Christ

“If you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed.” — 1 Timothy 4:6 (NKJV)

Paul reminds Timothy that a faithful minister is not only called to preach the truth but also to live by it. A good servant of Christ must be grounded in sound doctrine, carefully following the teachings of Scripture while guiding others away from deception.
