BUILT TO HELP — PART 2
Understanding Your Position as a Helpmeet

In Part 1, we established that you are a crown to your husband and that wisdom is your primary building tool. Today we go deeper, because what you carry on the inside will determine everything.

Here are the final 2 of 4 things you need to know about your position:

3. Character Is Your Most Valuable Asset

"Let it be the inward adorning and beauty of the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceful spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." 1 Peter 3:4 (AMP)

Your attitude and the way you handle things can either build or destroy your home. You have the power to determine the atmosphere of your home. Walk into any home and you will sense immediately whether the woman carries peace, even if the man is difficult.

Looking good is good. But inner character is what sustains a home. Work on the inside.

4. Submission Makes the Work Easier

"You wives, be submissive to your own husbands... so that even if any of them are disobedient to the word, they may be won without a word by the behaviour of their wives." 1 Peter 3:1 (AMP)

You cannot be effective in providing help from a place of pride. Your advice will be rejected, because even God resists the proud. Submission is not suppression. It is not silence. It is a condition of the heart that positions your help to actually land.

Your heart must be in it. Your actions must align with your heart. When submission flows from the inside, your help becomes effortless, because you are no longer fighting the very assignment you were built for.

You were built to help. Now walk in it.
