Non-Sectarian Unity of the Church: A Hope for Christians in Pakistan
By Pastor Javed Naik

The challenges facing Christians in Pakistan today are immense. Poverty, unemployment, social discrimination, lack of educational opportunities, and economic hardship continue to affect thousands of Christian families across the country. In such a critical time, the need for a united and non-sectarian Church has never been greater.
Jesus Christ prayed that His followers would be one. Unfortunately, divisions based on denominations, traditions, and organizational boundaries often prevent Christians from working together for the common good. While doctrinal differences may exist, the suffering of our people demands that we stand together as one Body of Christ.
Pakistan's Christian community is rich in faith, resilience, and spiritual heritage. Yet many believers struggle daily to provide food, education, healthcare, and shelter for their families. Countless children are deprived of quality education, and many young people lack opportunities to build a secure future. These realities call for a united response from churches and ministries around the world.
Non-sectarian unity does not mean abandoning our convictions or traditions. Rather, it means recognizing that our shared faith in Jesus Christ is greater than our differences. When churches, ministries, and Christian organizations work together, they can multiply their impact and bring lasting change to communities in need.
The international Church has a vital role to play. Christian ministries, churches, mission agencies, and charitable organizations across the world can partner with local believers in Pakistan to support education, vocational training, healthcare initiatives, poverty alleviation programs, and community development projects. Such partnerships can restore dignity, create opportunities, and demonstrate the love of Christ in practical ways.
Our vision is simple: we want Christians in Pakistan to live lives of dignity, hope, and comfort. We want families to have access to education, meaningful employment, and basic necessities. We want children to dream of a brighter future. We want churches to become centers of spiritual growth and community transformation.
This vision cannot be achieved by one denomination, one church, or one ministry alone. It requires cooperation, compassion, and a shared commitment to serving those who are suffering. The time has come for Christians to set aside unnecessary divisions and unite around the mission of uplifting vulnerable communities.
We therefore appeal to international churches, ministries, Christian leaders, and believers around the world to stand with the Christians of Pakistan. Your prayers, support, partnerships, and resources can help transform lives and strengthen communities. Together, we can demonstrate the love of Christ and bring hope to those who need it most.
The Church is strongest when it stands united. Let us answer the call of this moment with faith, courage, and compassion. Let us work together across denominational lines to fight poverty, reduce suffering, promote justice, and build a future where every Christian in Pakistan can live with dignity and hope.
For the glory of God and the welfare of His people, let us become one in purpose, one in service, and one in Christ.
