A Nugget of Truth. REVELATION’S TWO WOMEN. The Pure Church of Christ and the Harlot System of Babylon Revelation shows two women because prophecy shows two kinds of religion. One is faithful to Christ. One is unfaithful with the world. One is clothed with heaven’s light. One is decorated with earthly glory. One keeps God’s commandments. One makes nations drunk with error. TWO WOMEN. TWO WORSHIPS. TWO DESTINIES. 🔴 1. THE PURE WOMAN — CHRIST’S FAITHFUL CHURCH 📖 “A woman clothed with the sun…” — Revelation 12:1 The pure woman represents God’s faithful people—covered with Christ’s righteousness, standing on Bible truth, and loyal to God’s commandments. 📖 “The dragon… went to make war with the remnant… which keep the commandments of God.” — Revelation 12:17 TRUTH: The true church is not proven by popularity, wealth, or state approval. THE PURE CHURCH IS KNOWN BY TRUTH, OBEDIENCE, AND THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS. 🟠 2. THE HARLOT WOMAN — FALLEN RELIGION WITH WORLDLY POWER 📖 “I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast…” — Revelation 17:3 The harlot represents corrupted religion riding political power. She has beauty, influence, wealth, and a golden cup— but her cup is filled with spiritual intoxication. 📖 “Mystery, Babylon the Great…” — Revelation 17:5 TRUTH: Babylon is not dangerous because she looks godless. SHE IS DANGEROUS BECAUSE SHE LOOKS HOLY WHILE LEADING SOULS AWAY FROM GOD’S WORD. 🟡 3. WHEN DID THE FALL BEGIN? The pure church began with Christ and the apostles. The fall began when human tradition, church authority, and worldly power rose above Scripture. 📖 “The mystery of iniquity doth already work…” — 2 Thessalonians 2:7 Historically, Christianity gained legal standing under Constantine in A.D. 313, and the church’s civil influence grew in later centuries. That history matters because when religion gains the sword of the state, conscience becomes vulnerable. ✍️ “It was by departure from the Lord, and alliance with the heathen, that the Jewish church became a harlot.” — The Great Controversy, p. 382 TRUTH: A church begins to fall when she stops depending on Christ and begins depending on power. THE HARLOT IS BORN WHEN RELIGION MARRIES THE WORLD. 🟢 4. HOW DOES BABYLON WORK NOW? Babylon works through unity without truth. “Let us unite.” “Let us heal the world.” “Let us set doctrine aside.” “Let us cooperate for peace.” But the question is: UNITY AROUND CHRIST—OR COMPROMISE? The World Council of Churches traces its modern ecumenical work to its 1948 founding and celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2023. Vatican II’s Unitatis Redintegratio also said restoring unity among Christians was one of the council’s chief concerns. TRUTH: Unity is beautiful only when truth remains supreme. UNITY THAT SILENCES GOD’S COMMANDMENTS IS NOT REVIVAL—IT IS BABYLON. 🔵 5. WHAT DO CURRENT HEADLINES SHOW? Current headlines are not the final fulfillment by themselves, but they show religion, politics, and conscience-pressure drawing closer. Pew reported in 2026 that 37% of U.S. adults say religion is gaining influence in American life, the highest level in its surveys going back to 2002. AP reported that the U.S. “Rededicate 250” prayer event drew criticism from groups warning it blurred church-state boundaries and promoted Christian nationalism. Globally, Pew found that 59 countries had high or very high government restrictions on religion in 2022, a new peak in its tracking. TRUTH: The world is not becoming spiritually neutral. RELIGION, POLITICS, IDENTITY, AND CONTROL ARE MOVING CLOSER TOGETHER. 🟣 6. WHAT IS MEN’S DESIGN? Men’s design says: Unity above doctrine. Peace above obedience. Majority above Scripture. Power above conscience. Tradition above commandment. God’s design says: 📖 “To the law and to the testimony…” — Isaiah 8:20 📖 “We ought to obey God rather than men.” — Acts 5:29 TRUTH: When human authority replaces God’s Word, Babylon is already speaking. THE PURE WOMAN FOLLOWS THE LAMB. THE HARLOT RIDES THE BEAST. 🟤 7. HOW WILL IT END? Revelation gives the ending. Babylon will grow global. The nations will drink her wine. The kings of the earth will unite with her. False worship will be enforced. God’s people will be called out. 📖 “Come out of her, my people…”— Revelation 18:4 📖 “Babylon the great is fallen…” — Revelation 18:2 TRUTH: Babylon may look powerful, wealthy, and admired. BUT WHAT GOD CALLS FALLEN WILL NOT STAND. ⚫ FINAL CONTRAST The pure woman is clothed with the sun. The harlot is clothed with worldly glory. The pure woman keeps God’s commandments. The harlot intoxicates nations with error. The pure woman is persecuted by the dragon. The harlot is carried by the beast. The pure woman says, “Worship the Creator.” The harlot says, “Follow the system.” 📖 “Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” — Revelation 14:12 ❤️ Beloved, Revelation’s two women are not merely symbols. They are a choice. Am I walking by Scripture—or tradition? Am I following Christ—or religious popularity? Am I drinking Babylon’s wine—or receiving Heaven’s light? Am I standing with the pure woman—or being carried by the harlot system? 📖 “Choose you this day whom ye will serve…” — Joshua 24:15 KJV DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY RELIGIOUS BEAUTY WITHOUT BIBLE TRUTH.
